THERE BE DRAGONS
Yes, my dear Gulliver
there do be dragons!
I ask, “What are the coordinates?”
and you, tale
tubber, tell me
they are
just around the
corner
they are our
longitude and latitude
these satirical islands
lie everywhere
amongst us
right
at the heart of the land
do not
have to coracle out
into the ocean to search
high and low
hoping to find them
worst (and best) part about it
is how readily they find you
hook
you up to their system of
clever explanation
cry for
cloak of invisibility, swear
it is all simply fable
big people, little people,
flying saucer subjugation
never in our lifetime
could ever come to exist.
Yes, my dear Lemuel,
there will always be
will
always find a dragon
where there’s booty, or treasure.
