AND TWO IS

your body
mended me

its warmth and wetness
reassembled me
put me together

it was likeI was
a child and
you were teaching me Lego
which brick
fits with
which brick

and not that I should get
cosmic
or religious thinking about it

but for a moment it seemed less
than fanciful of me
to see this as
reconciliation
unification of
polar opposites
contending forces

so great to know what is
to find who one is, who one
is at the heart
of another

inside in every sense
the space, life
of another

where one is
now two

and two
is one
